Cedar Farm is the only surviving antebellum plantation-style complex in Indiana. The Kintner-Withers House, located near Laconia, Indiana, was built in 1837. The main house features a Classic Revival style that faces the Ohio River. The complex includes a cookhouse, a schoolhouse, tenant houses, an icehouse, milk houses, and livestock and tobacco barns.
CFC Properties, a real estate development and property management company, restored the plantation in 1985, and it serves as a special retreat for the Cook family. The farm is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
